Presentation of the book " History of Georgia" in the Romanian language

As part of the events related to the Georgian Independence Day and the 30th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Georgia and Romania, on May 31, the Georgian Embassy and the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levantine Culture and Civilization jointly organized a presentation of the book "History of Georgia" in the Romanian language.

The president of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Levantine Culture and Civilization, former President of Romania, Mr. Emil Constantinescu, the Ambassador of Georgia, H.E. Mr. Nikoloz Nikolozishvili, and the author of the book, historian Giorgi Gaprindashvili, addressed the audience.

The speakers emphasized the existence of close scientific and cultural ties between the two countries and particularly noted the fact that this is the first time when Romanian academic circles and the public have an opportunity to be acquainted with a work about the history of Georgia in their native language.
